About the Role
Develop, implement, and continuously refine a comprehensive fulfillment strategy that encompasses all categories of agricultural inputs.
Conduct extensive market research to identify reliable suppliers across different agri input categories, ensuring a diverse supplier base.
Monitor and manage the entire order flow, from order capture through picking, packing, and final delivery.
Work with Transport/Hub Leads to ensure timely handling of exceptions such as delays, stockouts, or incorrect shipments.
Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions (e.g., workflow optimization, automation, process changes) to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Track and report key fulfillment metrics (e.g., on-time delivery rate, order accuracy, return rate, fulfillment lead times).
Generate weekly/monthly dashboards to provide visibility and insights to the Head of Supply Chain and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with Procurement and Demand Supply Planner to ensure sufficient inventory levels and alignment with promotional or seasonal demand.
Work closely with the Transport/Hub Teams to optimize outbound logistics, ensuring deliveries meet customer expectations.
Oversee escalations related to fulfillment (e.g., missing shipments, damaged goods) and provide quick, data-driven solutions.
Champion a customer-centric mindset, aiming to improve the end-customer experience while balancing operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
Min. 8 years of experience in e-commerce or high-volume fulfillment operations (preferably experience in handling bulky items or fertilizer)
Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Strong data analysis skills (Excel, BI dashboards) to track and improve KPIs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Team leadership ability, with a history of coaching or mentoring.
Problem-solving mindset to handle daily operational challenges.
Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
Prior agritech experience a plus
