About the Role
Reporting relationship: Direct Reporting to Head of Supply Chain
The candidate’s responsibility will be to work closely with Head of Supply Chain. Your primary goal is to execute of supply chain operations, focusing on optimizing the flow of goods, materials, and information. This position will assist in ensuring timely and cost-efficient operations, supporting inventory management, logistics, procurement, and order fulfillment processes and will be based in Pekanbaru.
You will be responsible to:
Oversee the entire supply chain operations, including distribution channel, logistics (warehouse and transportation), demand supply planning to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness and improved performance
Direct and manage day-to-day supply chain activities and work closely with the sales team to optimize processes and support the growth of business.
Own and drive strong S&OP Sales & Operations Planning process in the market along with sales team.
Collect, analyze, and report key supply chain performance metrics such as lead time, order fulfillment, and stock levels. Assist in preparing reports for management review.
Assist in vendor management and supplier coordination, including placing orders and tracking delivery schedules. Support the team in negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Spearhead initiatives to identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as supplier diversification, inventory management strategies, and contingency planning for disruptions.
Work closely with various departments including sales, finance, and operations to ensure seamless flow of materials and information across the supply chain.
Requirements
You will demonstrate the following requirements:
Minimum 7 years of end-to-end supply chain experience covering demand/supply planning, S&OP, logistics and distribution.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience in digital tools and process experience in the area of planning and distribution.
Strategic thinking and analytical skill set.
Customer centric mindset.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills and having worked with diverse team and culture.
