As a Fertilizer Pricing & Market Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing pricing strategies for specific routes and markets. By analyzing market conditions and demand, you’ll optimize SKU product structures, identify revenue opportunities, and ensure competitive pricing strategies. Job Description
Benchmark and monitor pricing strategy vs competition
Assess and segment demand based on market conditions
Maximise revenue by developing an optimal fare structure on all routes and beyond points
originating from the assigned point of delivery
Identify opportunities for tactical pricing actions for incremental sales
Work with management to set group policy, procedures, and fares for a given portfolio of
markets
Work closely with sales, operations, finance, and procurement departments to identify revenue
opportunities and take early pricing actions
Ensure timely and accurate update of fares in relevant distribution channels
Requirements
Degree in Business, Management or numerical discipline or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experiences in a similar role
Energy and enthusiasm, with demonstrable can do attitude
Self-starter
Strong numerical and analytical skills with commercial acumen
Fluent written, spoken and reading capability in English
High level of accuracy and detail
Strategic outlook with business acumen
Excellent communication skills and experience in working with people at all levels.
Ability to maintain the overview and see the bigger picture
Able to create and maintain strong internal and external networks
Able to handle simultaneous projects and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
Have good understanding of Fertilizer market is preferred
