About the Role
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of smallholder association relationship professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them achieve their goals.
Set clear performance targets for the smallholder association team, monitor performance against targets, and take corrective action as needed.
Develop and manage the budget, forecasting revenue and expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
Build and maintain strong relationships with smallholders associations by providing support, guidance, and assistance to address their needs.
Provide smallholder associations support programs, monitor and evaluate effectiveness, collect feedback and make recommendations, on topics such as sustainable agricultural practices, financial literacy, and market access.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market developments to identify new business opportunities to enhance smallholder livelihoods.
Utilise smallholder association for smallholder acquisition, fertiliser business, and FFB sourcing business.
Collaborate with internal teams, including demand (leads) generation / sales / marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially with smallholders in rural areas.
Proficiency in local languages spoken in rural areas is highly desirable.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Previous experience of at least 3 years working with palm oil smallholder associations to provide solutions for them.
Previous experience of at least 3 years leading a high-performance team.
Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing smallholder and smallholder associations, particularly in the areas of agriculture, livelihoods, and rural development.
Commitment to social impact, sustainability, and improving the lives of smallholder farmers.
