About the Role
Build and lead high-performing teams of Site Reliability Engineers, Cyber Security Engineers, Field Customer Support Engineers, and IT Support using Agile methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
Design and maintain modern cloud-native infrastructure on GCP and AWS using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), containers (Kubernetes, Docker), and microservices architecture with SRE principles (SLOs, error budgets, incident management).
Drive DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and continuous deployment that enables engineering teams to ship multiple times per day with confidence.
Build internal platforms and tools that improve developer productivity, treating internal engineering teams as customers and reducing friction in their workflows.
Implement automation and cost optimization to eliminate manual toil, optimize cloud spending (FinOps), and drive operational efficiency through data-driven decisions.
Manage IT service delivery to internal stakeholders with clear SLAs/SLOs, lead operational excellence initiatives, and establish observability using modern monitoring tools.
Enforce cybersecurity and compliance through security-as-code, automated controls, and adherence to Indonesian regulations (PDP Law, BSSN regulations, SNI ISO/IEC 27001)
Conduct strategic planning and budget management for infrastructure investments, lead complex technology implementations, and manage vendor relationships.
Oversee IT facilities management including networks, WiFi infrastructure, and physical security systems.
Provide executive leadership with regular reporting on platform performance, strategic initiatives, cost optimization achievements, and technical concepts presented in accessible ways.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) and experience in agri-tech or supply chain platforms are strong pluses.
Have 7-10 years of hands-on IT leadership hands-on experience with direct responsibility across IT services, security, and operations—you must be comfortable writing Terraform, debugging Kubernetes issues, and reviewing infrastructure code
Deep expertise in cloud-native technologies with proven experience managing enterprise-level infrastructure on GCP and/or AWS, including compute, networking, databases, serverless, and managed services
Strong DevSecOps and Agile background with extensive experience leading teams using Scrum/Kanban, implementing CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code in production environments
Platform engineering mindset with experience building internal developer tools, implementing SRE principles (observability, incident management, blameless post-mortems), and measuring success by engineering velocity and system reliability
Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages to eliminate manual processes and build intelligent automation
Cybersecurity and compliance knowledge with experience in risk management frameworks, security-as-code practices, and Indonesian regulations (SNI ISO/IEC 27001, PDP Law, BSSN requirements).
Cost optimization expertise with proven track record in FinOps, cloud spending analysis, resource optimization, and implementing cost reduction initiatives.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to mentor technical teams, present to C-level executives, and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in fluent English.
Startup or high-growth tech company experience preferred—comfortable with ambiguity, rapid change, and building modern infrastructure in fast-paced environments.
