About the Role
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in driving company performance through accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze financial results, evaluate business initiatives, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making. The role also maintains financial models, dashboards, and reporting systems to ensure management has timely, reliable information for operational and strategic planning.
Develop annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and track performance against targets.
Prepare and enhance financial forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business inputs.
Conduct financial analyses to support strategic initiatives such as investments, mergers, and process improvements.
Monitor financial performance and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate financial models, databases, and dashboards for decision support.
Build scenario and sensitivity analyses to support forecasting and risk assessment.
Perform cost analysis to identify optimization opportunities and support finance automation initiatives.
Collaborate with multiple departments to gather information and validate financial data.
Present financial insights and recommendations clearly to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field from reputable university with minimum GPA 3.00.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
Willing to be placed in Pekanbaru area
