About the Role
Position Overview
The Community Manager is responsible for building, nurturing, and growing the SawitPRO
community—both online and offline. This role focuses on fostering meaningful engagement
among palm oil stakeholders, farmers, partners, and users by developing communication
strategies, organizing activities, and managing social media interactions. The Community
Manager ensures the SawitPRO community remains active, informed, and
inspired—contributing to brand trust, advocacy, and long-term loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, including farmers, local partners, and industry stakeholders.
Manage and moderate SawitPRO’s online communities across social media, WhatsApp groups, and other digital platforms.
Develop and execute community engagement programs, events, and initiatives to strengthen member participation and loyalty.
Identify and collaborate with key community influencers, ambassadors, or local leaders to expand reach and impact.
Gather feedback, insights, and success stories from the community to inform product, marketing, and communication strategies.
Work closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure consistent communication and community-driven storytelling.
Monitor community sentiment, respond to questions or issues promptly, and maintain a positive brand image.
Regularly track and report on community growth, engagement metrics, and key performance indicators.
Manage communication campaigns (online/offline) that promote educational, collaborative, and sustainable values.
Support cross-functional initiatives with marketing, PR, and operations teams to align community goals with brand objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in community management, social media management, or brand engagement.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent communication (verbal & written) and presentation abilities in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Experience handling community platforms (Facebook Groups, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, etc.).
Creative mindset with a passion for connecting people and fostering collaboration.
Proactive, empathetic, and responsive when engaging with community members.
Able to analyze community data, feedback, and sentiment to identify opportunities and challenges.
Familiarity with agriculture, sustainability, or palm oil industry is a plus.
Willing to be placed in Pekanbaru, Riau.
