About the Role
To oversee and integrate distinct but related functions of SawitPRO’s Product Management, Product Design, Product Analyst, Product Quality, and B2C smallholder relationship into a cohesive strategy.
Product Management to own the Products with the focus of delivering value to the customers
Drive product strategy, keep it aligned with product vision, and communicate it to stakeholders and users.
Create roadmaps, execute it, and ensure the milestones are met in a timely manner.
Discover user pain points through research and data grinding and collaborate with the analytics team to gain more insights.
Develop go-to-market strategy, drive execution, and collaborate with the growth team for the biggest impact releases.
Product Design to own the design process with the focus of delivering the best user experience to the customers.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications to communicate design concepts and interactions.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform and validate design decisions.
Review design implementation result to make sure design consistency on engineering deliverables.
Maintain and enhance the company design system.
Product Analyst to own the data that produced by the Products with focus of finding insights
Collect and analyse large data sets to support business decisions.
Develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.
Design and execute data analysis projects, using statistical and data mining techniques.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise and visually appealing presentations.
Product Quality to own the quality of the Product with focus on delivering error-free Products to the customers
Create test plans and test cases in detail, comprehensive and well structured.
Plan, execute and coordinate testing execution.
Create testing and bug fixing documentation and tracking quality quality assurance metrics.
Monitoring debugging process, bug fixing, and provide solution on the issue and bug found during testing.
B2C Smallholder Relationship to own the acquisition of Smallholders with focus on increase SawitPRO reach and user base
Build and maintain strong relationships with smallholders, especially with our users, by providing support, guidance, and assistance to address their needs and challenges.
Provide smallholder support programs, monitor and evaluate effectiveness, collect feedback and make recommendations, on topics such as sustainable agricultural practices, financial literacy, and market access.
Keep accurate records of smallholder support programs, interactions with smallholders, pipeline opportunities, and outcomes using CRM software.
Create online and offline programmes to increase the awareness and reach and turn them into registered users.
Role of the VP Product
Strategy & ideation – The person responsible has to develop the overall strategy and ideas behind the company's product development and B2C smallholder relationship.
Team management – Lead a team of collaborators and contributors for delivering on all aspects of the Product.
Leadership – demonstrate leadership by coming up with innovative ideas to achieve product market fit and support company north star metrics.
Roadmap development – Develop the roadmap and budget for managing the Product and the Smallholder Relation.
Execution KPIs – clearly define execution goals and KPIs to deliver on the Product organisation.
Senior Management collaboration – work closely with senior management including the CEO, VP of Technology, VP of Experience, VP of Operation, VP of Finance, VP of HR, etc. to deliver on the strategic business outcomes including owning Acquisition, Activation, and Retention metrics.
DDD – Lead the Data Driven Decision (DDD) making across the entire organisation. Utilise business intelligence and performance metrics to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Foster a creative & blame-free culture to encourage innovative solutions for addressing customer’s pain points.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Business or other related fields.
Min. 12 years’ experience working ideally in product development in driving digital initiatives and B2C growth with some independent P&L responsibilities.
Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organisation and within complex contexts.
Experience in innovating product development in both 0-1 phase and growth phase, especially in mobile applications (Android & IOS).
Experience in consumer industries like agritech, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer banking, digital insurance, FinTech, sharing economy, etc. is preferred.
